Invest in your future
Our intention is to create a community resource centre and mosque in Harrow. Phases 1 & 2 (the construction of the basement and the steel structure) have been duly completed. Phase 3 is nearing completion. Phase 3 includes the brickwork; windows; dome; and minaret. Despite the efforts that have been made we still require a further £2 million to complete the project.

Latest donations news
Since the last website update, you will have noticed that work has continued on the dome and minaret.

The interior of the ground floor is used at present for Jummah, Taraweeh and Eid prayers only. A full health and safety check was carried out and the temporary prayer facility is linked to the old building by video/audio link.

The exterior of the building is near to full completion. As stated above, the dome and minaret should be completed shortly. The external work is therefore entering its final stage and snagging work will follow.

The contract has been given out for the mechanical and engineering. We are entering the next Phase of the works. These will begin shortly.

We would like to take this opportunity to extend our deepest gratitude for the money that you have donated. We need about £2 million in order to finish the project.

Please pray that we can complete this project as quickly as possible. The sooner the new mosque is built, the sooner you will all be able to enjoy the fruits of your labour.

Allah chooses the people to build His house, and we are immensely grateful to Him for bestowing this honour and opportunity upon our community.

How to help

You can help by:

1. Donating a musallah (prayer place) for yourself, your deceased ones or any person of your choice.
   This costs £100 per musallah
   The reward will be given equally to everyone without compromise, and to yourself. (Imagine the number of people using these prayer places and how the rewards will be multiplied therefore).
2. Sponsoring an internal door.
   These are £300 each
   If you donate and recite the prayer: “Allah humma aftah li abwaaba rahmatey ka wa rizkey ka wa karamey ka was khaza enay ilmey ke.” (“Oh Allah open for me the doors of your mercy, sustenance, kindness and the treasures of knowledge.”)
3. Sponsoring the dome windows.
   These are £500 each
   Let the light of Allah shine through to all.
4. Arranging a charity event of your own. For example this could be:
   a charity run;
   a BBQ;
   a sponsored climb or walk;
   a quiz show; or
   a sponsored silence.
5. By setting up a standing order and providing your support to the mosque on a monthly basis.
   This will help to assist in the regular running costs of the mosque as well as providing us with money to finance the new mosque project.
