Since the last update to our website, you will have noticed the work has continued on the dome and minaret.
The steel structure is now populated with the timber, membrane and the plywood is in place. A temporary black water proof covering has been added awaiting the final metal cladding which will be installed as soon as materials are on site (with in the next few weeks).
Windows to the dome are about to be fixed in position with 1/3rd of windows will have electric openers.
The interior of Ground floor was prepared for Jumma and Traveeh prayers after taking all Health and safety issues into account with audio and video link to the older building.
Although it looks complete, the roof and all external work is in its final stages of completion and snagging work is in hand.
During the holy month of Ramadan last year, you donated almost £400,000 for the Masjid and this Ramadan the donations are expected to beat the previous records (Insha Allah)
Please pray for the completion as soon as possible so that we can all enjoy the use of this beautiful building.
Allah SWT chooses the people to build His house and we are grateful to Him for this honour and opportunity.

SADAQAH JARIA: "THE DONOR WILL REAP THE BENEFITS OF THEIR CONTRIBUTION FOR AS LONG AS THE MASJID EXISTS, MAY IT STAND AND BENEFIT THE LOCAL COMMUNITY UNTIL THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT."
YOU CAN HELP BY:
1. Donate for a Masallah (Sajaada) £100 / prayer place– for yourself, your deceased parents, grand parents or any person/s of your choice. The reward will be given equally to every one without compromise to your self. (Imagine the number of people using these places and how the rewards will be multiplied) Why a price drop? Well, “there is a sale on”, the price of a masallah is now approximatly £100 – this is purely symbolic, you are donating to the construction of the Masjid and every thing that goes in it. Cost was previously calculated with construction in mind whereas the bricks and mortar are now in place and this price will cover for the remaining costs before the area is completed kitted out for prayers.
2. Internal doors at £300 each – Donate and pray: Allah humma aftah li abwaba rahmatey ka wa rizkey ka wa karamey ka was khaza enay ilmey ke (O Allah open for me the doors of your mercy and sustenance and kindness and the treasures of knowledge.)
3. Dome Windows at £500 each (Let the light of Allah Subhana hu taAllah shine through on to all).
4. Arrange a charity event of your own choice eg. A charity run, a garden party, a BBQ party, climb Mount Snowden or Ben Nevis, arrange a quiz show, a sponsored silence, ehtikaf at the Masjid, read the whole or part of Holy Quran with a group, do a Nasheed party etc. The list is endless, you can use your imagination and engage your friends and family and help yourself with rewards from Allah Almighty (here and the hereafter).
5. Set up a standing order and provide support to the project and assist in regular running costs of the Masjid.
